Ana Csitkovits, RD, LD
(she/her)

Ana graduated from the University of Texas at Austin’s Coordinated Program in Dietetics. Her experience working at the various levels of eating disorder care has given her an appreciation for the importance of working as a team in the treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating, with the client at the center of that team.

Ana believes in an evidence-based approach to nutrition and enjoys making nutrition information straightforward and accessible. She advocates for learning to analyze research literature through a critical lens in order to better understand research outcomes. Ana is passionate about conversations related to determinants of health and discussing beliefs about health and “wellness”.

Although she has lived in Texas most of her life, Ana is Mexican and a native Spanish speaker. She strives to provide culturally humble care to people of all backgrounds, and she is specifically interested in the way cultural practices impact relationships with food. She enjoys getting to know her clients and learning about the systems in which they exist in order to provide well-informed care. Ana’s strengths lie in nutrition counseling, social justice, and weaving humor into sessions.

In her free time, Ana is an avid reader and enjoys exploring a variety of book genres. She loves nature and prefers to spend slow time outdoors watching the trees move in the company of her friends and family.

Ana is a registered and licensed dietitian in the state of Texas, New Mexico and Nevada.  She is engaging in telehealth only sessions.
