Dani Anastasi, MS, RD, LD (she/her)
Dani graduated from Oklahoma State University with her Bachelors degree in Nutritional Sciences. From there, she completed her dietetic internship and Masters degree at Texas State University. Dani has experience working with patients from all ages and stages in recovery and has gathered knowledge from each point in her career. She has a passion for breaking down diet culture in working with clients that are struggling with their eating disorder. Dani aims to help her clients reach the food and body liberalization they desire and deserve.
Dani’s personality is a balance of compassion and nurturance and she uses this in her work with clients. While Dani understands this journey can look different from person to person, she ensures her clients feel at ease and supported throughout their journey towards food and body freedom. Dani’s recommendations for nutrition support are evidence-based and hold a non-diet approach. Additionally, each recommendation is individualized to hold space for everyone’s specific needs, culture, and lived experience. She believes that getting to know her clients and understanding what is important to them helps her provide well-rounded support.
In her free time, Dani enjoys spending time with her cat, Tucker, and dog, Sunny, whom she loves dearly. Although she loves both of her animals equally, she is a self proclaimed “cat person” and is proud of it. When she’s not lounging with her pets, Dani loves to read and explore all of the yummy food Austin has to offer.
Dani is a registered and licensed dietitian in the state of Texas and Ohio and is engaging in both in person at our Central office and telehealth sessions.
